Immediate Beer
Brewing sustainable and carbon negative beer.
By replacing virgin barley with surplus bread, Immediate Beer save resources and emissions that are connected with grain production and landfill emissions. In their manifesto, they made nine pledges to create a truly carbon-negative beer, sourcing local ingredients, selling locally and delivering their products as cleanly as possible.
Immediate Beer are driven by the positive impact they can make on the environment and the local community. Alongside their conscious approach, they also provide surplus food to vulnerable families, support charities, and provide work experience to young individuals.
Meet The Founder
Dimitris Stoidis founded Immediate Beer while he was studying aerospace engineering at the University of Southampton. Passionate about sustainability, climate action, and addressing inequality, Immediate provided a platform to make a positive impact. “Beer is our vehicle for change but it is also so much more than that,” Dimitri says.“It’s about what is possible. It’s about sustainable consumption and production.”
