Redefined 0bjects evolved from frustration at the waste created by the western world, through huge industries like fast fashion. Instead of feeling helpless, they spotted a glimmer of hope - an opportunity to give this waste new life.
Redefined objects is a lifestyle shop based in the UK and India, specialising in clothing, home furnishings, textiles, accessories, bamboo homewares and utensils. They aim to redefine the lifecycle of waste, offcuts and discarded objects. Their main focus is on recycling industry waste, consumer waste and fabric leftovers, turning them into thoughtfully-crafted apparel, home furnishings, accessories and stationery.
Redefined Objects want to showcase the traditional skills and craftsmanship in different areas of India, while using deadstock fabric from factories and upcycling sustainable products. Sourcing handmade products from local artisans also helps them to support communities in remote villages and communities.
