Pinot Grigio Rosé

Pinot Grigio Rosé

£13.49

It is estimated that 70% of marine litter is on the seabed, 15% is floating in the water column and 15% is what we find on our shores (OSPAR, 1995). By purchasing this bottle of Sea Change Pinot Grigio Rosé you are helping tackle this critical problem.

What more could you ask for? One of the world’s favourite grape varieties made as a wonderfully fresh and delicate rosé. The north eastern Veneto region of Italy is the home of Pinot Grigio and Prosecco. The region is dominated by the imposing Dolomite mountain range to the north and is bordered to the south by the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. It is this landscape, coupled with region’s cool climate that give the wines from this area the crisp acidity and freshness that we all love.

Tasting Notes: Sea Change Pinot Grigio Rosé is a wonderfully refreshing and vibrant dry rosé. Packed full of rich summer fruit with balanced acidity and a delicate floral nose. Food Pairings

Food Pairings: Great as an aperitif, Sea Change Pinot Grigio Rosé is perfect on its own or served alongside fresh green salads, seafood or white meat dishes. It's delicious alongside homemade roasted vegetable pasta topped with Parmesan shavings.

When to drink: This Pinot Grigio Rosé is best enjoyed when youthful and fresh. It should always be served chilled.

Find yourself a new favourite wine from Sea Change, a social enterprise making waves of change with their eco-friendly wines.

These winemakers are committed to creating exceptional drinks and caring for our oceans in equal measure. Look closely at the beautiful hand drawn illustrations on each bottle and you’ll notice the marine animals depicted have bits of plastic inside, reflecting the effects of plastic pollution.

Keen to be part of the solution, Sea Change put real thought into their own packaging. There are none of those plastic wraps around their bottle tops and the labels are a mix of paper from certified sustainable forests and grape waste too. Even the corks are made from a renewable plant-based material.

Sea Change also gives back to conservation charities who help protect marine animals too, making a donation for every bottle sold. All this adds up to a lot of small ripples of change and one big positive impact per bottle.

Better still, there’s a great variety in their award-winning range. So you can toast to making a difference whether you’re partial to a prosecco, reds like negroamaro, whites like sauvignon blanc or a rosé.
