Sapling x London Essence | Bitter Orange & Elderflower Tonic Water 6 x 150ml

£33.00

British made vodka planting a tree for every drink enjoyed!

This vodka is distilled exclusively from British wheat. They distill it four times, resulting in a very clean, crisp, and naturally sweet taste. But we believe in more than just high quality spirits.

For every bottle you buy, they will plant a tree.

Bitter Orange & Elderflower Tonic Water

Blood orange oils and a rich bitter orange tincture are artfully blended to provide the base for their Bitter Orange & Elderflower Tonic.

To this they add a gentle floral distilled essence, created by steeping and gently heating elderflowers to capture their aromatic vapour.

Included in the set:

1 x 70cl bottle Sapling vodka
6 x 150ml London Essence bitter orange & elderflower tonic water

Description

The subtle sweetness of the elderflower distillate is perfectly paired with the tangy citrus notes of the bitter orange to provide depth of flavour. As with the rest of our collection, this tonic is also delicately light and low in calories, with just a dusting of sugar.

AROMA

Tangy and fresh orange with subtle elderflower notes.

TASTE

Bitter and tangy orange notes are balanced by rich blood orange oils and a hint of elderflower distillate for a floral and honeyed finish.

About Sapling Spirits

At Sapling, there are two things essential to their ethos – high quality spirits, and love for the natural world.

In most people’s imagination, these two things seem to exist as being mutually exclusive. Is saving the world not something that requires a bit more effort? Walking, instead of driving? Sorting out your recycling properly? Of course we all should do these things, but the question arises of why we can’t give back to the planet while we are kicking back with our friends, doing the things we love to do.

There are many companies that are carbon neutral, or plastic free. But they wanted to give something tangible back to the environment. Being neutral didn’t quite cut it for them, so they decided to go carbon positive by planting trees.

A recent study found that an average bottle of vodka uses 2.8kg of carbon before it reaches its customer. One of their trees can absorb up to 1.5 tonnes of carbon in its lifetime, making each of our bottles significantly carbon positive.

Every bottle they sell we will be planting a tree with one of our carefully selected partners. They not only plant trees and nurture them, but also seek to enhance the local area in which they plant.
