This ethical gift consists of a delicious Bacchus from Forty Hall. This British wine hails from a vineyard close to our home, based in North London. This 10-acre plot is the only commercial scale vineyard in London, and is in fact the first in the capital since the Middle Ages. But that’s not the only thing that makes Forty Hall different.
It’s a vineyard that is primarily volunteer-led, with an ecotherapy project woven into the production of the wines that is designed to boost the mental and physical health of the community. In turn, the profits from sales of wine help to support the community endeavours and improve overall local wellbeing. The production of the wine itself uses eco-friendly farming and organic, natural processes.
The Bacchus included in this sustainable gift is fresh and light, with hints of apple, gooseberry and blackcurrant. The aromatic flavours in this elegant white taste are refreshing and long-lasting, much like Forty Hall’s community efforts.

Substitutions
