The best way to properly test out the original core range of brews made with unsold loaves from Chalk Hills Bakery. Enjoy the journey from light to dark. The mixed case includes 4 of each of our original beers:
- The Sourdough Pale Pale is brewed using, zesty Sourdough loaves. Late hops enhance the aroma but don’t overpower with bitterness. A perfect session pale ale. Abv: 4.2% (4 x 500ml Bottles)
- The Bloomin’ Amber Lager is brewed using Surrey Bloomer loaves. Based on a Vienna lager recipe but fermented with an ale yeast it’s a true hybrid of lager and ale. Abv: 4.8% (4 x 500ml Bottles)
- The Rye Ruby Ale is brewed using the complex flavours of Rye bread, our recipe folds those flavours into a dark, warming ruby ale with real richness. Abv: 5% (4 x 500ml Bottles)
Sourdough Pale Ale: water, barley, wheat and oat malts, sourdough breadcrumbs (wheat and rye), hops.
Bloomin’ Amber Lager: water, barley and wheat malts, white wheat breadcrumbs, hops.
Rye Ruby Ale: water, barley, wheat and rye malts, rye breadcrumbs (rye flour, caraway seeds), hops.
Allergy Advice: All beers contain wheat, barley and rye glutens. May contain traces of sesame.
Crumbs Brewing make beer using left over artisan bread from Chalk Hills Bakery in Reigate, Surrey. Each beer is made with a different type of loaf, that way the style of the beer reflects the character of the delicious bread that makes it. They’re fighting food waste and making tasty, unique beers at the same time.
The first three beers cover a spectrum from light to dark. A zesty, light Sourdough Pale Ale, a malty Bloomin’ Amber Lager and our dark, mysterious Rye Ruby Ale, a real winter warmer. Enjoy!
