China Keemun - Loose Black Tea
Most famous Chinese Black Tea
Keemun is produced exclusively in the Qimen county from the Anhui province in China. Keemun is actually named after the county of its birth- Qimen and is still known as such sometimes. Keemun is the anglicisation of Qimen.
It is a baby among black teas as its production started only in 1875 compared to the long histories of other black teas. Despite this, it is one of the most famous among the Chinese teas and extremely popular in the West.
Our Keemun is of superior grade with long wiry leaves. Upon brewing, it yields a beautiful dark copper liquor which is superbly refreshing, with a slight smokiness and notes of sugar cane and red wine.
