Certified by the Soil Association and pending B Corp accreditation, Neve’s Bees champions a radically simple approach to skincare — removing water to eliminate unnecessary chemicals and cut carbon emissions linked to bulkier, water-based products. Packaging is fully recyclable or compostable, and every formulation is cruelty-free and hand blended in small batches in rural Oxfordshire.

What truly sets Neve’s Bees apart is its deep-rooted environmental commitment. The brand donates a full 10 % of profits to nature-recovery projects — helping restore wildflower meadows, protect pollinators and support biodiversity across the UK. With these funds directly aiding local conservation partners and rewilding initiatives, Neve's Bees is proving that planet-positive skincare can be both beautifully effective and genuinely restorative for the ecosystems that sustain us all.

Meet The Founder

Neve’s Bees was founded by Julie Macken, a chemist turned entrepreneur whose journey began in the corporate world — with senior roles at Unilever, GSK and McDonald’s. Her perspective shifted while running a marketing workshop in São Paulo, where she realised her skills could be used for something more meaningful than selling plastic-wrapped convenience food.

Combining her scientific background with a lifelong love of the natural world, Julie founded Neve’s Bees to create skincare that supports healthy skin and a thriving ecosystem. Now based in rural Oxfordshire — surrounded by her family, beehives, wildflower meadow and rescue pets — she continues to lead the brand with integrity, optimism and a hands-on commitment to giving 10 % of profits back to nature.
