How these Baskets are made
Made using a mix of seagrass and Palm leaf:
Seagrass is a sustainable natural fiber that is extremely durable and hard-wearing. It is harvested locally by our suppliers and dried before further processing. Seagrass is known for its strength, softness, and silkiness.
The palm leaf is a renewable raw material that is also very robust. This is split, braided and hand-woven into a basket using traditional techniques.
