Morse Code Block Print Cushion Green

£45.00

Hand screen printed and embroidered by refugee women artisans.

By supporting these incredible women and buying their products, we’re taking action together to build a brighter future where humanity shines.

The international distress signal S.O.S is a message within the design and embroidery of the Handmade Cushion, zooming in on the Morse code dots in the design and hand embroidered with dots and dashes (••• — — — •••).

For Love Welcomes it is the urgent message that refugee communities in need of support are telling the rest of the world.

Each handmade cushion is hand screen printed on recycled linen a repetitive morse code S.O.S. symbol showing a colourful way to decorate your home.   The joyful colours were inspired by our favourite female artists for the Bauhaus era.

The morse code is hand embroidered as a special detail of love from our team.   This modern look is a perfect way to decorate your home as a cushion for the couch or your bedroom while showing your support for confident and independent refugee women.

Every purchase supports living wage employment to refugees and profits support the refugee community.

SO JUST SHOP curates accessories and homewares which create a better world for the women who make them. They thoughtfully source beautiful lifestyle products for their collection from female artisans in vulnerable and marginalised communities in 20 countries across the world.

Their business is built on having fair and ethical relationships with the women they work with. As well as paying a living wage, they offer opportunities for training and upskilling, especially in male-dominated skills. All this helps these talented artisans towards economic empowerment.

It also gives them the education and tools to provide for their families, which has a positive impact across their wider community. And ultimately, the whole country too, since they can make a sustainable and valuable contribution to the economy. It’s all-round good business creating ripples of change far and wide, which we love.

SO JUST SHOP aims to lift 250,000 women and their families out of poverty through their ethical, sustainable products. Products which include block printed wrapping paper produced at a Fairtrade cooperative in Delhi, ceramics made using ancient Palestinian handicraft traditions and stylish upcycled jewellery.
