Meet LoveWell, the social enterprise fighting exploitation one product at a time. Behind their dreamy range is an empowering programme for women who’ve experienced significant trauma through trafficking and exploitation.

All too often, survivors of exploitation face barriers to employment. LoveWell helps break down these barriers with training, skills development, and meaningful work through the making of their products.

LoveWell's range of beauty products are handmade by women who have experienced barriers to employment. Each sale helps fund training, skills development and meaningful work, all of which support them to find alternative employment, education or training.

Trainees get fully immersed in the organisation learning about production line processes, product development, customer service, marketing, and order fulfilment. They also cover a range of life skills and employability skills, from confidence-building, to assertiveness and teamwork as well as CV-writing, interview prep and job applications. By the end of the six-month programme, trainees are more confident, resilient, and ready for alternative employment. Each woman is matched with a trained mentor, who will continue to offer support for up to a year post-programme.

Every LoveWell product you buy helps to create empowering work for women moving on from trauma. In 2022 they employed *Lucy - one of their ex trainees who now makes candles for you. She loves her job and they love having her on the team.

Meet The Founder

Claire was one of LoveWell’s co-founders, working with two others to counter the lack of supportive, paid opportunities for women who wanted to exit sex work. They’ve built the brand around the belief that every woman, no matter her skills, background or self-belief, has the ability to aim high and reach her potential.
