These weighted eye pillows are filled with around 10-15 cups of locally sourced, repurposed coffee grounds scented with real lavender buds and essential oil.
Coffee grounds are amazing at holding scent and you can enjoy the aromatherapeutic benefits of both coffee and lavender for several months or more. When the scent starts to wane - just boost it again with a few drops of essential oil (you don't have to stick with lavender).
We believe this is the first of it's kind on the market.
The inner pillow has been segmented to ensure that the filling remains evenly spread out and that it sits comfortably over the nose area. The weight afforded by the filling around your eye and frontal facial areas is deeply relaxing and calming. This is because it stimulates the Vagus Nerve.
The outer pillow case fabric is 100% cotton. It is a beautiful soft cotton with 3 stunning printed patterns to choose from. These are washable at a low temperature.

From candles and eye pillows to body scrubs and home accessories, the team handmakes every product in Wales, harnessing the natural benefits of repurposed coffee grounds.
The circular brand collects these spent grounds from local independent cafés, helping to divert waste from landfill, reduce the coffee houses’ high commercial waste rates and reduce methane – a greenhouse gas more than 30 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Wherever possible, they source additional ingredients locally too, favouring Welsh suppliers and always choosing natural, vegan materials.
But Grounds for Good’s impact goes beyond waste reduction. Through the Work for Good platform, a portion of profits supports Llamau – a Welsh charity tackling homelessness among young people and vulnerable women. The brand also plans to offer work placements to those with lived experience of homelessness, helping them rebuild their lives with practical skills and confidence.
