Meru Herbs is a co-operative of family farmers who produce jams and sauces without the use of fertilisers and chemicals. They are focused on women empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, alleviating poverty, and improving standards of living.
A blend of juiciest red tomatoes and fresh basil leaves gives an aromatic and mouth-watering full flavour. It is an excellent store cupboard essential as it can be used straight from the jar as a 'heat up and eat' sauce for pasta or chicken, use as a pizza base, but can also be used as a rich tomato flavour base for dishes such as bolognaise, stews or any other tomato based dish.
