CHOCOCO
Chococo is Dorset-born chocolate with a purpose. Since 2002, this independent, family-run maker has been handcrafting chocolates, brownies, gelato and more – each creation combining originality with responsibility. From the start, they’ve challenged industry norms: refusing plastic trays long before it became the standard, and today using only compostable or recyclable packaging.
Sourcing is equally thoughtful. Chococo works directly with cocoa farmers to secure fine, single-origin beans – supporting transparent, fair supply chains. Their recipes are free from palm oil, light on sugar and rich in flavour.
Chococo also channels creativity into conservation. Orangutan-shaped chocolates fund reforestation in Sumatra, while special “Ocean Guardian” and “Seagrass” collections support marine and coastal protection. It’s an approach that proves indulgence and impact can sit side by side. Recognition has followed, with over 130 national and international fine food awards to their name.
From their first kitchen in Swanage to chocolate houses across Dorset, Hampshire and beyond, Chococo shows that artisan chocolate can be playful, planet-aware and proudly crafted by hand.
