Most of our range uses a recycled outer shell, commonly recycled ABS (often certified rABS), RCS-certified recycled plastic, recycled PET or aluminium, instead of virgin plastic. We describe the casing material honestly and do not claim the internal electronics are recycled.

The most common casing materials in this range are recycled ABS, RCS-certified recycled plastic, recycled PET and aluminium, with a smaller selection in bamboo. Around six in ten power banks here are built around a recycled casing. The exact material is listed on each product.

Capacity is measured in mAh. A 5,000 mAh power bank gives roughly a single phone top-up and is light to carry, 10,000 mAh suits daily and commuter use, and 20,000 mAh is better for travel or charging more than one device. Our range covers all three, so you can match capacity to how recipients will use it.

Yes. Almost all of our power banks charge over USB-C, and a large selection also offer wireless charging, including MagSafe-compatible magnetic models, plus some fast-charge options. The charging features are shown on each product.

Power banks contain a lithium battery, so they should not go in general waste. In the UK they can be taken to a household waste recycling centre for waste electrical and electronic equipment, and many retailers accept old electricals back on a like-for-like basis when you buy a new one.
