White Monkey - Green Loose Tea

White Monkey is a premium green tea made from delicate leaves and buds picked from late March to early April and carefully steamed and dried. This special tea originates from the Taimu Mountains in the Fujian province of China. The delicate dried leaves have fine hair, which resemble the paw of a white-haired monkey, hence the name.

Upon infusing, White Monkey yields a light yellowish brew with a clean, sweet taste. Floral notes and notes of fresh fruit along with a slight nuttiness are balanced with a classic green tea astringency and grassiness. A complex, lingering and remarkably refreshing aftertaste makes this tea easy to drink while providing the layers and depth that tea connoisseurs demand.

How to enjoy: Steep a tsp per cup for 2-3 mins in 80-85°C water.
