For a lower-impact choice, the bamboo medal is made from fast-growing bamboo and the basswood medal pairs a wooden disc with a cotton lanyard and a wheat-straw buckle. There are nickel, brass and copper-plated metal relief medals, soft-enamel medals and glass awards too. Medals are laser-engraved, enamelled or printed in full colour, several made in the UK for fast turnaround, with order quantities from 100 units.
