Maraba is born from a close collaboration between Gorilla Spirits Co., Moon Roast coffee roasters, and the coffee producers of Rwanda.

Our coffee is sourced from individual small growers in Rwanda, then expertly roasted by Moon Roast Coffee. To create Maraba we cold brew Speciality Grade red bourbon arabica coffee beans with alcohol for 72 hours to gently extract all the wonderful flavours, from light floral to deep chocolate, before turning it into the finished liqueur.

For every bottle of Maraba Coffee Liqueur sold we donate to Kula Project a non-profit organisation, who work to eradicate poverty through the development of entrepreneurs in Rwanda’s coffee communities.

Maraba Coffee Liqueur is bottled in 100% post-consumer recycled glass.

Tasting notes: rich and bold espresso, followed by fruity coffee notes with buttery chocolate and a smooth finish

Bring the taste of your morning espresso to evening drinks with Maraba Coffee Liqueur. The skills and expertise of Gorilla Spirits Co, Moon Roast Coffee and coffee producers in Rwanda have come together to create this cold brew coffee liqueur.

The smooth, rich drink is named after the renowned coffee-growing region of Maraba. That’s where the beans in the specialty coffee used in the liqueur come from, sourced from individual farmers by Moon Roast Coffee and roasted at their craft roastery in Hampshire.

A few miles down the road, the Maraba Coffee Liqueur team cold brew the beans with alcohol in small batches. They extract all the delicious layers of flavour, before turning it into their velvety liqueur.

There’s more to Maraba Coffee Liqueur than incredible ingredients and impressive distilling skills, though. The brand supports women in the Maraba region by donating 10% of profits to the Kula Project, which helps female entrepreneurs flourish and eradicates poverty in the process.

Through 15-month business fellowships, the Kula Project provides industry training, business investment, life and leadership skills. The women who take part go on to build successful businesses, raise healthy families and send their children to school. Every bottle of Maraba Coffee Liqueur supports their journey.

Both the original Maraba Coffee Liqueur and the Salted Hazelnut edition are perfect for jazzing up cocktails, with a caffeine kick and dash of positive impact. Order a bottle and you’ll be mastering your espresso martinis in no time.
